- play outside (Yes, that's me who's playing!)
- read first chapter of "Pilgrim's Inn" and "The Wolves of Willoughby Chase"
- eat hot bread with butter and honey
- go for an afternoon walk
needed things,
- bake bread (Or #3 above won't happen!)
- finish lessons for the day
- do laundry
- pay the bills
- finish staining the steps outside
- bathe the stinky puppy
- write thank you notes
- mop all the hard floors
- keep potty-training the puppy
and much-needed things,
- have my quiet time,
- make dinner,
- spend time with Pace,
- read aloud to the kids, and
- take a bath.
I love a day that's productive, but I think that falling into bed tonight is going to be very, very welcome!
Oh yes - falling into bed is going to be wonderful here too - what a day its been!
ReplyDeleteI was going to call you but that obviously didn't happen, I have a question about the curtain pattern and my runny waffle batter! LOL! My mom brought up some ground wheat for me she had in her freezer, and they turned out runny again. Im thinking that possibly Im doing something wrong! HAHA! Anyway... May your evening be a pleasant one! I hope that you got to mark many things off your list!
I played much of the day, but then came home to do dreary things. Some of the dreary things got pushed to tomorrow's list - so that all that's left is heat leftovers, pour bag salad into bowls, sit and knit while I watch TV with Dad. Playing outside was hopefully blissful enough to cancel out bathing the stinky puppy...
ReplyDeleteKnow what I've been doing today? Learning how to thread my serger that I've had for oh, I'd say, about three years now. My husband just shook his head at me. He can't believe I've had it that long and am just now figuring out how to thread it and use it. "These things take time." I tell him. "Time." He also had to show me how to raise the blade on the thing:)
ReplyDeleteTomorrow's agenda:
ReplyDeleteCall my fantastic sister.
It sounds like a great day :).
